Yves Klein® paint
IKB d’Yves Klein®
A symbol of contemporary art, the artist from Nice was born in the 1930s. Yves Klein was not only a painter, he was also a sculptor, a photographer, a craftsman and a video artist, always with this avant-garde vision of his projects. For him, the future of art lay in the monochromy of works. He therefore spent several months working on tinted pigments “It will be blue, nothing but blue, I will devote my life to it! Thanks to a new solvent, more precisely a synthetic resin, the artist succeeded in obtaining his perfect blue IKB (International Klein Blue). Yves Klein therefore registered the formula for his blue at the INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle).
Ressource x Yves Klein®
Close to art, creation and familiar with the highlighting of know-how, the French brand Ressource pays tribute to the artist by drawing inspiration from his IKB blue. This range is composed of an undercoat as well as two types of finishes to be determined: deep matte or velvety matte. This paint will bring cachet and authenticity to the different rooms in which it will be applied. Highlight the architecture while maintaining a monochromatic minimalism.
Cement tiles with IKB
Modern Cement Tiles
In a truly avant-garde approach, many modern patterns will blend perfectly with this deep blue applied to one or more walls. Indeed, thanks to their natural material as well as their authenticity, cement tiles represent a great alternative in the design of a room in this color range. The goal is to find a balance between the omnipresence of the IKB with the patterns of the material tiles.
The eye collection M0671 and M0672 will bring a graphic complement to the IKB. Either your choice is to play on the contrasts, so it is the salmon color that intervenes. Or you want to bring a complementarity in the shades, in this case, the shades of blue are to pose.
Gold was also a choice for Yves Klein. Therefore, leaves can also be a graphic and contrasting alternative.
Timeless cement tiles
Timeless patterns can also be combined with the deep blue of Yves Klein. By keeping either the roundness or the star patterns, bring light and dreams to your different rooms.
